Food, Inc.

We watched Food, Inc. the other night. It was a bit of a bummer. The Fuzz wasn't really surprised by the meat industry, having seen this stuff before. We have raised goats, geese and chickens ourselves, and know it's not necessary to treat them this bad.
What got The Fuzz the most, was how the corporations were hounding and suing the little people to get a monopoly. That, and the apparent collusion by the government in all this.

Free Speech

Saw This-

"NEW YORK — A Pakistani immigrant who a prosecutor called "Hezbollah's man in New York City" has been sentenced to nearly six years in prison for airing the Lebanese militant group's television station."

We're not fans of Hezbollah, but don't we have "Free Speech" here any more?

Sticky Words

I would have thought a "Tar Baby" was a mess that was hard to get out of. But then, I guess that is what it is in McCain's case. It's getting hard to say anything these days with out somebody getting on your case. But I guess that's a good way to avoid the actual issues.

"Free" Speech

Is it possible that there may actually be such a thing as an "immoral act" ? If there is, why should someone be required to "apologize" for their opinions on the matter ? Apparently we are only allowed "Free Speech" if it doesn't offend certain people.
